can i get my record player to play through my m-audio midi interface through the RCA audio cables?

Its a M-Audio Fast track pro midi interface and i want to know if i can get my record player to play through that. Or is there another way to get it to play through the computer?

No, you cant!
You can only Transmit/Receive note/signal by midi port/cable.

What other careers can an instrumental music educator, with a lot of technical skill and experience, pursue?

I have a bachelor's degree in K-12 instrumental music education, with a focus in percussion. I recently was let go from a school only 2.5 years into my career, and now I'm thinking maybe I'd like to try something else for a while. I love teaching and am very interested in it, but also have a strong interest in the music industry: songwriting, song analysis, recording arts, PA sound reenforcement, etc. I'm very computer savvy and have some experience working in Adobe CS3, etc.

My question is basically: What else can I do? What kinds of jobs are out there for a former music educator? Can anyone speak from experience having gone through this transition themselves?

I should also mention I'm willing to move anywhere in the world if the job is right. Location is not an issue.
