what do the gamecube av(audio, video) cords look like? were they the culprit?
i just got a gamecube from gamestop. i plug it in to a tv that works perfectly. tv turns black(all channels, and inputs) white stripe in the middle horizontally.i allready tried to put it in take it out restart ect. now my tv doesn't work and i suspect the av cord is responsible. the ones i have have 3 slits in the metal going from 3 sides from top to bottom. i have looked at the rest of my cords for other things and none look like that. can you discribe some of you gamecube cords please.

My gamecube cords looked lke this.
A simple power cord to the power supply which had a smaller cord that plugged into the gamecube.
Then, my red, yellow, and white audio and video cords that plugged into the back of the gamecube and the colored ends went into the matching ends on the t.v.
Unless you jammed these into the wrong spot, they shouldn't have screwed up your tv.
I don't know what you mean about the slits though. I don't think mine had slits, so you may want to pop over to gamestop and show them the slits. Those could be the culprit, but just plugging in the cords shouldn't have screwed up your t.v.
