There is a techno song that is often played in the background of "club advertisements" on radio stations...

It has high pitched synth sounds, no words...
for the music people out there, the melody starts out
with 3 quarter notes, then 4 eighth notes, an 8th rest, then an upbeat 8th, an 8th rest, and then 5 more 8th notes (starting on the upbeat), 2 more quarter notes, 4 more eighth notes, 8th rest, upbeat 8th, 8th rest, 3 more 8th notes (starting on upbeat), and then repeating back at the first 3 quarter notes (these last 3 eighth notes lead into the beginning part...)

as for the melodic nature:

-3 Quarters have same pitch
-next 4 8ths: first and third have same pitch as preceding quarters, with the 2nd and 4th having a slightly lower pitch than 1st/3rd...
-up beat 8th is lower pitch than previous note
-first of 5 eighth notes has same pitch as upbeat 8th...

that's all i feel like explaining for now...

hopefully someone is crazy enough to find it let alone understand what i said... : /

it may not be an actual song yer lookin' for...

radio stations purchase a 'production music library package' from which they use music for commercial 'beds'...these tracks can range from bluegrass to soul to disco to techno (and everything in between)...the music often sounds like something very familiar; but is not a re-recordin' of an actual song...

i know that doesn't really answer yer question; but i'm tryin' to explain that music used in radio and television commercials isn't always a 'real' song that can be identified...
